The family members found out about the news and brought the dead body to Khanpur Hospital in the city.
The deceased, Lucky Akhtar (26), was the daughter of a dude from Sathtar Haoldar in Shoneshwar Gram of Baoiful Thana in Patuakhali district. Her husband, Shipon Hossain, a butcher in Fatulla Bazar, had married Lucky. They had a son who is 10 years old and a daughter who is 6 years old. After tying the knot, they were living in Fazlu Mia’s house in the Fatulla Railway Station area. Late at night, Shipon called home and found out that Lucky had committed suicide by hanging herself. Then, when Shipon, Lucky’s parents, and other family members came to the house, they saw the door locked from the outside. They broke the lock and found Lucky’s lifeless body inside. They immediately rushed Lucky to Khanpur Hospital, where the emergency department declared her dead. Shipon took off with their two kids after all this craziness.
The officer-in-charge (OC) of Fatulla Model Police Station, Shariful Islam, said it was a domestic dispute that led to the murder, but the reason for the killing is still unknown. They are trying to arrest Lucky’s husband. Her body was taken from Khanpur Hospital to Victoria Hospital for a post-mortem examination. So, yeah, that’s the wild story from Narayanganj.
