top-10-bangladeshi-players-auctioned-for-pro-kabaddi-league-in-ndia

The Pro Kabaddi League’s 12th season is set to kick off in India in August. The auction for this season will be held on May 31 and June 1. Bangladesh has managed to secure the highest 10 players from the country in this auction, which is great news for Bangladeshi Kabaddi. It’s a big deal because previously, so many players were never selected together for the Pro Kabaddi auction.

The final list of ten players has been sent by the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation. They are: Mizanur Rahman, Liton Ali, Arif Rabbani, Russell Hasan, Rajib Ahmed, Roman Hossain, Dipayan Goldar, Monirul Choudhury, Al Amin, and Shah Mohammad Shahan. The new committee is working on the development of Kabaddi in Bangladesh. They are taking various steps to increase the players’ value internationally. In January, six Bangladeshi players played in the franchise Kabaddi league in Nepal.

The General Editor of the Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, S M Neowaz Sohag, stated, “After taking charge of the new committee, we faced many challenges. Initially, we sent six players to the Nepal Kabaddi League. This time, we have selected ten players for the Pro Kabaddi League auction. We have a selection committee for choosing players. They have verified everything and selected the players. In this auction, three players will have priority who have played in recent seasons. These three players are Mizan, Liton, and Arif Rabbani.” Iran is the country with the most players desired from Bangladesh for the Pro Kabaddi auction at the moment. S M Neowaz Sohag, the General Editor of the Kabaddi Federation, said, “We are currently in second place in the Pro Kabaddi auction. After Iran, our position. We have chosen more than ten players from here. Nepal, Kenya, Thailand, all those countries want fewer players than us.”

Not really sure why this matters, but it seems like Bangladesh is making a mark in the Kabaddi world. Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like they are really stepping up their game. With the new committee and the focus on player development, it looks like Bangladesh is on the right track. Let’s see how these ten players perform in the upcoming Pro Kabaddi League and if they can make a difference in the game.
