In the deep forests of the Sundarbans, a total of 62 Indian citizens were pushed into Bangladesh by the Border Security Force (BSF). The incident took place on Friday at around 3 pm along the river path of the Sundarbans in the bordering area of Mandarbaria in Satkhira. The Forest Department confirmed the news of their push-in.

Assistant Ranger ABM Habibul Islam of the Satkhira range of the western Sundarbans verified the incident. He mentioned that around 60-62 Indian citizens entered the Mandarbaria area of the Satkhira range and are currently under interrogation related to their entry through the Mandarbaria border.

The Indian citizens were pushed into Bangladesh through the Mandarbaria border by the BSF. Additionally, a number of Indian citizens were left within the forest by the BSF. ABM Habibul Islam also stated that the matter has been reported to the Coast Guard and BGB for further action. However, no statement has been received from the Coast Guard regarding this issue.

On the other hand, according to a source from the Khulna station of the Coast Guard, they have received information about the incident through the Forest Department. They will take the necessary steps in this regard.
