So, like, I was chatting with some folks the other day and heard that there might be a chance of starting flights from Sylhet to Cox’s Bazar by Air Arabia. Pretty cool, right? I mean, who wouldn’t want more options for travel? Anyways, the Regional Head of Air Arabia, Rajesh Narula, had a meeting with the big shots at the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) recently.
During the meeting, they discussed collaboration in the aviation sector, future possibilities, and improving passenger services, among other important stuff. It seems like they are really considering kicking off flights from Sylhet and Osmani International Airport to boost Air Arabia’s operations. Also, they are looking into the possibility of expanding international flights from Cox’s Bazar Airport.
Rajesh Narula seems pretty keen on starting flights from Sylhet and even expressed interest in operating flights from Cox’s Bazar once the airport there is developed internationally. The CAAB Chairman wished him good luck and assured full cooperation in all related matters. Representatives from Air Arabia and senior officials from CAAB were present at the meeting.
Not really sure why this matters, but it’s good to see these discussions happening. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like it’s a step in the right direction for improving air travel in Bangladesh. Who knows, maybe we’ll see more options for flights in the near future. Just something to keep an eye on, I guess.
Anyway, it’s nice to see these developments taking place and I’m curious to see how things progress in the coming months. Let’s hope for the best and see where this journey takes us. Cheers to more travel options!
