In Chattogram, a woman named Mariam Begum gave birth to six newborns at once through normal delivery. Among the newborns, there are five girls and one boy. The births took place on Saturday afternoon at the National Hospital in the city. The newborns have been admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the hospital for intensive care.
Although one of the newborns weighs less compared to the others, they are considered to be risk-free by the doctors. Mariam Begum resides in the Hill View area of the city, although her home is in Cox’s Bazar district. Her husband’s name is Nur Ahmed.
Mariam’s doctor, Obstetrician and Gynecologist Nazneen Sultana, stated that Mariam Begum gave birth to six children through a natural process. Due to the high number of births at once, their weight is slightly lower. Therefore, they have been kept under observation in the NICU. However, everyone is in good health.
Previously, on April 24, another woman named Rikta gave birth to five children at the same time at Chattogram Medical College Hospital.
So, yeah, that’s the news about Mariam Begum and her six newborns. Pretty wild stuff, right? Six babies at once, like, how does that even happen? But hey, as long as everyone’s healthy, that’s what matters most. Kudos to the doctors and nurses taking care of them. Just another day in the life of a journalist, reporting on the unexpected and miraculous events happening around us.
