Apparently, Jannat Ara was Nurul Kabir’s daughter from South Ghunia village in that same union. She was just doing her usual thing, heading to the fields for work on Thursday morning, when out of nowhere, this wild elephant comes charging from the hills and bam – tragedy strikes. Her family found out, rushed to the scene, and brought her body back home.
Now, this former chairman of Fashiakhali Union, Helal Uddin, has confirmed the incident to the police and forest department. But honestly, not really sure why this matters, but there you have it – another tragic elephant attack in our area. Just another day in paradise, huh?
