harvesting-litchis-in-sonaergaon-village-in-10-days

So, like, have you ever been to this place called Sonargaon? It’s like this super cool place in Narayanganj, and they have this awesome litchi garden there. Litchi, man, it’s like everyone’s favorite fruit, you know? It’s all juicy and sweet and just delicious.

Anyway, recently I heard that the litchi gardens in Sonargaon have been booming with litchis. Apparently, this year they had a bumper harvest because there wasn’t any heavy rainfall to ruin the crops. But get this, in the past 10 days, most of the litchis have been sold out. Crazy, right? People are going nuts over these litchis.

I talked to this dude Kamal Hossain, who came all the way from Puran Dhaka to buy litchis in Sonargaon. He was like, “I thought I could get litchis for cheap here, but turns out they’re pretty expensive this year.” He ended up paying way more than he expected. And then there’s this lady Parvin Begum, who owns a litchi garden in the area. She was all like, “I usually sell litchis for 550 taka per shatak, but now I’m selling them for 750 taka.” Talk about inflation, right?

So yeah, the litchi business is booming in Sonargaon, and people are flocking there to get their hands on these delicious fruits. Who knew litchis could cause such a frenzy? Not me, that’s for sure. But hey, it’s all part of the fun of living in Bangladesh, where even the smallest things can make a big impact. So, if you’re ever in the area, make sure to grab yourself some litchis before they’re all gone. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
