So, like, there was this big police week thingy happening, you know, and the Deputy Minister, Jahangir Alom Chowdhury, he was like talking to the police peeps and stuff about being all friendly and stuff. He was like, “Hey, let’s be all buddy-buddy with the people and win their hearts with our good service and positive vibes, ya know?” And he was saying how the police peeps gotta keep their act together and not get involved in any shady stuff, like bribes and corruption and whatnot.

He was all like, “We gotta make sure regular folks feel safe and not scared or anything, so let’s do our police duties without any political influence and be all impartial and stuff.” And he was like, “No special treatment from anyone, y’all. Gotta stay away from corruption and all that jazz.”

Jahangir Alom Chowdhury also mentioned how he goes around checking out different police units and stations and stuff. And he’s like, “I see all these problems, especially with the lower-level forces and their food situation, man.” He’s like, “We’re trying to fix the issues with police vehicles and stuff. Buying like 200 pickup vans for the stations, you know? And the government is working on solving other problems too.”

He also talked about how the police face all sorts of challenges in their work, and they gotta have patience, man. Patience is key, you know? And by talking and discussing, they can solve many problems without resorting to violence or force.

The Deputy Minister mentioned how the police force is kinda struggling, so they need to strengthen their organizational structure and stuff. He’s like, “We gotta take steps to increase the manpower, man. I’m telling the IG to get on it, you know?”

He also mentioned how crime and terrorism are changing all the time, so they need to be on their toes. And like, there’s no alternative to training to deal with these crimes, man.
