pakistan-bangladesh-business-forum-nauguration-in-dhaka

So, like, there was this thing happening in Dhaka, right? It was the launch of the Pakistan-Bangladesh Business Forum. The main guest at the inauguration event at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital on Monday (April 28) was commerce adviser Sheikh Bashiruddin. He was all about how businesses gotta step up their game to achieve their commercial goals, you know what I mean?

According to Sheikh Bashiruddin, this forum will play a vital role in strengthening bilateral trade relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh and boosting economic cooperation. Despite both countries being densely populated, the business potential between them is not what you’d expect. Business folks from both sides gotta step up their game to achieve their business goals.

He also mentioned how we need to figure out how to make tariffs and non-tariff barriers between the two countries more feasible. Like, we gotta work on that, you know?

Later on, Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) signed a memorandum of understanding to boost bilateral trade. The signing ceremony was attended by BGMEA’s Vice Chairman Mo. Anwar Hossain and PRGMEA’s Vice Chairman Amir Riaz Chotani.

At that time, Pakistan High Commissioner Sayed Ahmed Maruf, FBCCI Director Mo. Hafizur Rahman, and BKMEA Chairman Mohammed Hatem were also present.

So, like, this event was a big deal for the business community in both countries, you know? It’s all about fostering better trade relations and creating more opportunities for investment and expansion. Not really sure why this matters, but hey, it’s something, right?

And that’s the gist of it, folks. Stay tuned for more news on how this forum will impact business relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like this could be a game-changer for both countries. Just my two cents, though.
